New Resource for Grandfamilies

The American Bar Association's on Children and the Law, Generations United and Casey Family Programs have launched a website that provides information on laws and legislations in support of grandfamilies. While the site is still fairly new it does contain a resource center consisting of a searchable database of current laws and legislation to assist caregivers, attorneys, advocates or policymakers in legal questions surrounding relatives and childcare both within and outside of the child welfare system. The website also contains a comparison of state laws, legislative trends, advocacy and implementation information as well as other relevant Internet sources.
